i was really hungry.

today chris and i went to cafe felix in ann arbor. cafe felix is a “european cafe.” i paid eight dollars for some lettuce on a piece of bread. while it tasted good, it was still just a piece of bread with some lettuce on it. but it was “european” with a fancy “european” name, so obviously that justifies an eight dollar price tag.

this stuffed chicken breast with pine nuts and dried cherries also cost eight dollars. it is much smaller than it appears and does not technically qualify as a meal, but it was good!, so if you are not really that hungry anyways and want to spend eight dollars on a piece of really tiny (but really delicious!) chicken, then go for it.
